AmCham Leadership Dinners: Summer Session held at the Alchymist
Between the first sparkling glass of wine to the final serving of desert and coffee, AmCham leaders and their guests covered a vast geography of business... from what is happening when Czech citizens pull up to the drive through to where the future lies when public and private data is inserted into AI models.
Our first Leadership Dinner of the fall calendar (thanks to Jiri Hlavaty and the Alchymist Grand Hotel and Spa, Prague!) contained both concern and optimism. Uncertainty caused by multiple geopolitical events- including the upcoming Czech parliamentary elections- may be inducing caution, but it also is making executives alert to new opportunities that will arise. These dinners allow the people making decisions about how much to invest and how many to hire to understand better the fractal changes occurring across sectors.
AmCham president Milan Slapak started the proceedings by reminding those present that we cannot control what politicians and governments decide to do, but we do decide how to react. And our aim, he says, should be to show our resilience and dynamism. No one at the table had any doubts what we can do.
