AmCham 2025 Thanksgiving Dinner

AmCham Networking

Doing business together is what has built and what will maintain the transatlantic relationship. Investments and salaries is what puts food on the table- and taxes in the till so that planes can be bought and security sustained. Those daily debates and decisions between people born in America and people born in Czechia develops the deep pools of understanding and trust that will allow if it crisis ever comes and we need to react in unison.

AmCham CZ once again celebrated the thousands of weekly decisions and deals that have created such a strong bond between Czechia and America in the last three decades at our annual Thanksgiving Dinner this Thursday. Each year, we ask david rejhon of the Marriott Hotels to translate an American regional cuisine using Bohemian ingredients. This year we recognized the Gullah Geechee community of the coastal Carolinas: he magically produced a crayfish bisque, cornbread and benne cakes.

Pavel Sovicka of Panattoni CZ & SK successfully sliced the honorary turkey in his first test as AmCham president and reminded us of the outsized contribution to the Czech economy (and national budget) of the people sitting in the room.

AmCham would like to thank Citi, CETIN, Honeywell, JŠK, advokátní kancelář, s.r.o., Marriott Hotels, ManpowerGroup, Medtronic. onsemi, PASSERINVEST GROUP, a.s., Skils, and White & Case LLP for supporting the evening.

Now to the Christmas holidays and toward an even stronger transatlantic business relationship in 2026!
