AmCham annual Tax Policy Update: Business Innovation is shaped by multiple Government policies, including tax policy

AmCham CZ held recently the annual tax policy update for 2024 and outlook for 2025 with Director General, Taxes and Customs Section at the Ministry of Finance Stanislav Kouba and Director, International Relations Department at the Ministry of Finance Zdeněk Hrdlička that was moderated by David Borkovec, Partner Tax and Legal at PwC Czech Republic.

Members of AmCham Tax Committee discussed a variety of topics ranging from the new Accounting Act, through Income Tax Act, VAT Act, tax deductibility of R&D or health care services provided by employers to employees, to CBAM or Unified Monthly Report of Employers, among others.

Business innovation is shaped by multiple Government policies, including tax policy. Taxes are influencing Czechia's ability to compete and AmCham plans to advocate for tax to be a part of the reiteration of Czechia's economic strategy.
