Alvise Giustiniani of Philip Morris ČR a.s has become a new member of the Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in the ČR

The Board of Directors of the American Chamber of Commerce in the ČR (AmCham) has a new member. Alvise Giustiniani, Managing Director of Philip Morris ČR a.s. tobacco company, has become a new support of the AmCham board. He has replaced Jane Gilson of Microsoft who had resigned because of her departure from the Czech Republic.

Alvise Giustiniani has joined other 16 board members to come up with proposals how to improve Czech business climate and increase the quality of Czech leadership as well as proposals supporting business opportunities of AmCham´s member companies.

“My new role in the American Chamber of Commerce will allow me to work with relevant stakeholders on regulatory frameworks that foster business investments of AmCham's members in the Czech Republic,” said Alvise Giustiniani.

„Philip Morris has been a full-value member of AmCham for more than 15 years. I believe that the appointment of Alvise Giustiniani to be one of board members will deepen the cooperation of AmCham with Philip Morris and that it will be the base for further joint projects,“ specified Weston Stacey, Executive Director of the American Chamber of Commerce in the CR.

Throughout 1990’s Mr. Giustiniani worked in strategic roles within Business Development, Corporate Affairs, and Sales at the Philip Morris International’s Operations Center in Lausanne, Switzerland, in Philip Morris International’s affiliate in Italy, and most recently he held the position of Managing Director of Tabaqueira, the Portuguese affiliate of Philip Morris International. Mr. Alvise Giustiniani holds MBA from INSEAD in France, and a degree in civil engineering from the University of Padua, Italy.
